E6: Core Beliefs, Listening to Our Inner Child and Challenging Our Negative Critic
In this episode we look at recognising how our core beliefs often stem from unmet needs of our inner child. If these issues are not addressed and we can find them showing up and effecting our adult relationships, career and even our relationship with ourselves. We delve a little deeper into this, addressing how these negative core beliefs can often be backed up by our internal critic only giving them more power and control over our lives. We ultimately have two choices, we can be our own bully and continue to tear ourselves down and ruminate on our flaws or we can be our own cheerleader, lifting ourselves up. No one has access to your internal dialogue, you are the only one who can write or even re-write the script to how you talk to yourself. I ask you this, would you talk to your best friend the way you talk to yourself? If not I think it’s time for a change. You deserve the love and kindness we often so freely give to others. It’s about time you give it to yourself!!
