Many non-native speakers of the English Language have been disoriented about standard expressions, and these have thrown them into communication misfortune.

Communication breaks down when expressions are not used in the appropriate context. Which is why we need to start disabusing our minds of wrong expressions that have been inherited as a result of intellectual negligence and idleness, as well as complacency. It's about time we started saying things in the right way if we must have the right audience. Remember, everybody says it does not make it right!
