In Chapter One of ”The Wonderful Wizard of Oz” by L. Frank Baum, we are introduced to Dorothy, a young girl living on a Kansas farm with her Aunt Em, Uncle Henry, and her dog Toto.
A cyclone suddenly strikes the farm, and as Dorothy tries to protect Toto, the entire house is lifted into the air and carried away by the storm. Eventually, the house lands in a mysterious and beautiful land, far away from Kansas.
