En Gedi; The Secret Place
HAZE
18 episodes
En Gedi was the cave that David hid in, while fleeing from Saul, in times of persecution. It became his place of refuge, safety, comfort, and dwelling with the Lord. It is the secret place. God led me into 2024 with the focus of “Daily Walking & Daily Surrender”. I found that for every day that I walked with God, no matter how different they are, I always end up back in En Gedi. This podcast was a call by God to share my secret place. A call to invite people into my home. A call for fellowship beyond church walls. So make yourselves at home. I’m so glad you’re here! From your host, Hazel.

5. God Will Never Shortchange You

Pruning seasons are painful. But it is always worthwhile in hindsight because when God removes, He replaces! And with much greater because you can never out-give the God of abundance! The God of "more-than-enough". He loves you so much no matter where you are at, but He also loves you too much to leave you where you are at. This episode is a testimony of my 2023 prune-y but purposeful pains.

“By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that’s not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God’s grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise. There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!”

Romans 5:1-5 MSG
