This is Empathy is Badass. Where you don't have to be an ass to be a badass!
My mission is to help my fellow humans harness the power of empathy, compassion, and mindfulness. I spent years feeling trapped in a victim mindset that no longer served me, and I wanted out. So, I got uncomfortable, vulnerable, and questioned everything I thought I knew. I found true peace at rock bottom and haven’t looked back. We will discuss how to turn your pain into power, heal, and let the bull **** go.
There is no secret sauce that will transform your mindset overnight, but this is a great place to start.

Affirmations for Loneliness and Finding New Friends: Lonely is Not Alone
In this episode, I talk about how much it sucks to be lonely sometimes and how hard it can be to make friends as an adult human. I also give you 40 different affirmations to help combat loneliness and attract new friends into your life. You can listen to them any time, any place, as many times as you want. Feel free to listen, repeat them, or write them down.

Loneliness is a universal emotion, so why does it feel so awkward and uncomfortable to talk about?
At some point in our lives, we have all felt lonely. It can happen after moving, losing someone, finishing school, or ending a relationship. Isolation isn't always a choice (medical/physical disabilities, immunocompromised, etc.), and being lonely is a natural emotion in these situations. The Covid-19 pandemic forced many of us into isolation. Not only did this cause a global feeling of being lonely, but it also changed the way we interact with one another. It can sometimes feel more uncomfortable to put yourself out there and engage with strangers than to just stay lonely if it's what you're used to.
So if we're all awkward, anti-social, and more used to being alone now, how do we meet new people and make new friends? A great place to start is your inner monologue surrounding loneliness, friendship, and self-worth. Setting the intention of attracting the right people into your life can help you avoid toxic people and relationships.
Being alone with yourself doesn't have to feel lonely. These times of peace and solitude can be a great opportunity to look inward, reflect, and determine what you really want from life and your relationships with others.
There isn't a secret sauce that will transform your life and mindset overnight so be patient with yourself, trust in the process, and be sure to subscribe so you won't miss our next episode release :)
