#66. Why Giving up 15Million Dollars was the best decision in his life with Kevin Shah
Kevin Shah AKA, Captain Empathy, is focused on creating a world where people seek to understand one another by making empathy a daily habit. He believes empathy is the superpower we all can learn and become superheroes. His experience navigating toxic spaces in tech as a product leader and facilitating inclusive spaces workshops led him to create the world’s first and only Empathy Gym app and program called Jaago. He has led global product teams and delivered impactful and successful first-of-kind products in aviation (at Thales), public safety (at Axon), and now at T-Mobile. He had taken products from 0 to 1 and then 1 to 10X scale. His product SyncUP KIDS Watch at T-Mobile was rated number 1 Kids Watch in 2022 in US beating Apple and Verizon. He believes in injecting empathy in everything we do and delivering products and experiences that enable customers to feel reflected in the product experience. He gave up a $15 million dollar compensation contract after the murder of George Floyd and left the tech for law enforcement industry. He is leading a team of approximately 40 people overseeing T-Mobile's consumer IOT product teams. -About Ally SalamaForbes 30 Under 30: https://www.forbesmiddleeast.com/lists/30-under-30-2021/ally-salama/Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/allysalama/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/allysalama/To be Featured Email ally@empwrhouse.com---Support the show by dropping us a rating and review on Apple Podcast!©Ally Salama 2022 | Produced by EMPWR House
