Maybe it’s the global pandemic, maybe it’s being uncomfortably close to age 30, or maybe it’s the handful of catastrophic events they’ve experienced in the last year. Whatever the reason, Nivedh and Sara have been thinking about mortality a lot lately, as is expected from two has-been emo kids.
On today’s episode, they discuss the times they’ve felt most near death, and the times they’ve felt most alive. Nivedh has repeatedly found himself in an uncomfortably close proximity to natural and unnatural disasters, but also stood proudly on the edge of enlightenment at a Coheed and Cambria concert. Sara drove herself to near-demise last fall, but what a year to do it. Graphically broken nose and scarred face? Just slap a mask on and call it fashion, girlfriend!
But not everything is a matter of life or death. While feeling spiteful earlier this week, Sara happened across one of the most unbelievable social media displays she’s ever had the petty pleasure of finding. Nivedh, being the enabler he is, persuades her to read it, and it reminds us to live, love, and laugh out loud.
