Today I shared a bit about my story coming to Nashville as I'm celebrating my 9 year wedding anniversary today. The question I want everyone to ask is about your community. Who in your life is encouraging you to be your true self, who encourages you to find your identity instead of telling you what they think it is? Surround yourself with those people.

Take the time to really define your identity as an artists. What descriptive words convey who you are in a deeper way than just your genre.
Inspiration: The Traveler
The young creative mind is like a traveler who enters a valley filled with fog. The journey is thrilling as they do not know where they are going or where they will end up. Will it be beautiful or will it be desolate? The mature creative mind returns to places of beauty to ensure they are always creating from a beautiful spring of inspiration. The jaded creative mind fails to see when the spring has run dry and this place that was once beautiful is now desolate. The only way to escape the desolation is to enter the fog once again.
