Today’s Discovery Question:
When working on a project, how do you select the songs that will be recorded and released: A) I record one song at a time and am not concerned about them fitting within a project. B) I want my project to be a collection of songs that show my diverse ability and each song to stand alone as a single. C) I want all the songs on my project to contribute to the project as a whole. I want the listener to go on a journey as they experience a cohesive collection of songs.
Task Of The Day:
We will use the Operations pitch plan to organize our industry research into a strategic pitch plan for the pre-release, release, and post release portions of your campaign. Industry Research: Existing Contacts, Headline Acts, Artist Managers, Booking Agents, Publishers, Label A&R
Inspiration:
Nothing bonds you together with others then a shared mission or goal and working together towards it. Think about something you are very passionate outside of your own creative works and find ways to volunteer with people in your industry who share that passion. The camaraderie you create will extend to your own work eventually, guaranteed.
