
One quick way to turn around your day and re-group is the 2 Minute Turn Around Trick.
Grab paper if you want, but preferably the notes app on your phone.
Set a 2 minute timer.
Begin writing everything down that you are grateful for until the timer stops.
Then, the next time that you are overstimulated, frustrated, sad, etc you can grab your phone and read through the things you are thankful for. Then, set a 2 minute timer again in that moment and continue your list.
Do this again and again as many times as you need and create this beautiful list of all you are blessed with. Let your brain do it's job and begin learnign to focus on the positive and spend less time dwelling on the tough.
