Jenny went through what turned out to be the most significant & heartbreaking transition of her life. All she yearned for during that period of darkness in pain was to paint. She was terrified to risk it all and explore the artist's journey. She began painting and wanted to heal her wounds. Once she surrendered to this intense pull from within, the fire in her belly — this gift took on a life of its own. What emerged felt surreal and explosive. She became a conduit for something larger than her. What you see in her heARTwork is her exploring vulnerability to heal herself and others through her work.
Jenny is a contemporary fine artist based out of Chicago. She is highly influenced by beauty in complex human emotions and the human condition, and attempts to reveal them through multiple nuances in expressions through her art. Her interest in human frailty shows in her paintings where she creates semi-abstracts of human silhouettes and fluctuating forms in half-light; all drawn from reality, personal experiences, and memories. Prior to becoming an artist, Jenny has headed eCommerce for corporations, brands, and startups for 15+ years, including The Oprah Store at Harpo.
