We were also seeking a place that allowed us to make our own decisions without excessive government interference, and El Salvador provided that freedom.    As someone from Brazil, I wanted my children to experience Latin culture and learn Spanish, and this country offered the perfect opportunity for cultural exposure and growth.   El Salvador stands out as a nation moving in a positive direction, with family and God remaining important aspects of the culture.
