"Laalach insaan se kya kya nahi karwata? Yeh kahani ek doctor ki hai, jismein uski zindagi ka ek purana sach ab uska peecha nahi chhod raha. Saalon pehle, doctor ne apne lalach ke chakkar mein aise faisle liye jo na sirf uski professionalism par sawal uthate hain, balki uski khud ki zindagi ke liye bhi khatra ban gaye. Us waqt usne gareebon ki madad se apna haath peeche kheench liya tha, aur wajah thi – uska laalch.
Ek raat, usse ek anjan number se call aati hai, jismein ek aadmi madad ki pukar kar raha hota hai. Doctor ka mann usse bachane ke liye taayaar ho jata hai, aur voh turant apna ghar chhod kar us gaon ke liye nikal padta hai. Lekin jab voh wahan pahuncha, toh jo usne dekha, usne uski poori duniya hila di. Kyunki jis wajah se voh gaya tha, wahan na koi mareez tha aur na hi koi insaan. Toh fir usse call kisne ki? Usse mareez ke kamre tak le jaane wala aadmi kaun tha? Aur kyun usse hi is kaam ke liye chuna gaya? Ek kamra, jahan sirf laashe thi… yeh sab kya tha?
