
Today, James chatted with Don Scozzari, a long time friend and inspiration in the health and wellness space.
Here is a little about Don, out of his own mouth: "The first time I ever lifted a weight was my freshman year of highschool. I thought I was so cool going to max out my bench press every day at lunch. I somehow didn’t injure myself and I started going to a local gym and picking up tips from the big guys there. This is where my interest in fitness began. I tried everything under the sun in terms of strength training and nutrition. I wanted to get bodybuilder big and put some muscle on my scrawny physique so I dove into all of my favorite instagram pages for the best programs and diets. Then I discovered that the majority of my jacked role-models only had a slight clue how to structure all the intricacies of a training and nutrition program. I took a step back and sought out much more highly qualified coaches and trainers in the industry. I got into the weeds with all of this new fitness information and really learned just how much there is to strength training and nutrition. So, with my new mindset as a fitness practitioner, I started training people and applying this growing knowledge. I have worked with many people in the past 8 years. I have also trained myself to have the strength to compete in the fighting scene at a professional level. Between training others and training myself, I have discovered how to effectively train people of many different starting points and backgrounds. It is a huge blessing to be able to provide a helping hand to people wanting to make a change in their lives and I find it extremely rewarding. I hope to be able to assist others in even the smallest capacity with my work. My goal is show people that you don’t have to make your life revolve around fitness to be in the best shape of your life."
