All this while fighting against rheumatoid arthritis, which in its most acute forms causes physical tiredness, pain, obvious and painful difficulties in dealing with daily life. Hers is a testimony of strength and tenacity and also of how to tell your first daughter what it means to live with an autoimmune disease. Alessia has an Instagram page, 'living with rheumatoid arthritis' and has made her story available to other patients.
