The FF55 contains the proposal for a Regulation on Alternative Fuels Infrastructure (AFIR). The new regulation encourages the uptake of electric mobility by setting mandatory targets for recharging stations and incentivising smart charging. Electric vehicles will be predominantly connected to the distribution grid making DSOs central to the electrification of mobility.
