When I came out to a friend of mine in high school, she outright told me to get electroconvulsive conversion therapy. Growing up gay in Indonesia means that you constantly have to hide your sexual orientation and you just have to be satisfied with living under the radar. I brought Kevin along to talk about growing up and living as a gay person in a homophobic Indonesia.
