Episode #5: VCU Neo Environmental

Welcome back returning listeners and everyone new to the Eco Fashion Podcast at VCU. In today’s episode, our host Natalie B. talks with leaders from another environmental organization here at VCU —Johnny, Gladys, and Dymond! Natalie and the Leadership Board from Neo talk about the ideas they have to make VCU’s campus more sustainable. Dymond talks about a social media campaign Neo is doing with VCU’s Office of Sustainability. Gladys talks about a sustainable cutlery company Neo is working with. Johnny touches on the struggles fast fashion vs. luxury brand pose for young people. Natalie was inspired to hear from fellow Rams and leaders on campus that are pushing for VCU to take sustainable practices now and how Neo hopes to break out into the Richmond community. Everyone, be sure to go follow VCU Neo Environmental Instagram and keep up with everything they’re doing for VCU campus and beyond—@neovcu
