Before we dive in, let's quickly go over the words and phrases we'll be covering. We have: get on with, to get on well with someone; take after, to take after a parent; rely on, to rely on someone for support; close-knit, a close-knit family; colleague, a supportive colleague; socialise, to socialise with friends; interact, to interact with others; collaborate, to collaborate closely with; respect, to have mutual respect; empathy, to feel empathy for someone; loyal, a loyal friend; commitment, a lifelong commitment; conflict, to resolve a conflict; argument, to get into an argument; see eye to eye, to not see eye to eye; gossip, to indulge in office gossip; betray, to betray someone's trust; bond, to form a strong bond; drift apart, to drift apart over time; and finally, fall out with, to fall out with a friend.
