Beginning her career in magazines, notably W Magazine and Lucky Magazine, Julia Kalachnikoff has over 20 years experience in the fashion industry. She joins me today to talk through her journey through the pre-computer fashion world. We start with reflecting about our changing visions of our lives, how what we wanted at twenty is different to what we wanted at thirty five - and that's ok. She shares her experience becoming a mother while working in very important, high pressure roles.

On the back half, Julia candidly shares her experience with sobriety and finding alternate ways to relax and enjoy more quiet moments, breaking generational trauma cycles to talk about the real life stuff and prepare for the messy conversations.
