Carawei is a Kiwi-born Chinese multi-instrumentalist and music producer, best known for her solo work & as guitarist of The Venom Dolls. She is also the founder of Milky Avenue Studios, a LGBTQ+-focused music studio based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Namnita chats with her about her upcoming song "Retrograde", as well as training in music from a young age, how her family approaches her career, signing an album to Big Pop & running your own studio.
