In our ninth episode (which roughly marks our 1yr anniversary), we talk many things metal, as usual. Even though we were short one Jack in our deck of many bvds, we had an amazing time, in no small part because we were once again joined by a wonderful guest: activist, musician, fan, incipient show organizer Babsi (Mosh for Animal Rights).

After some convo with our guest about, among other things, all the things that go into organizing a charity metal show, we move on to discuss yet another eclectic selection of heavy music, including the recent releases by (the best band in the world, according to one hvmble bvd) Night Verses – Every Sound Has A Color In The Valley Of Night (00:24:58), Bring Me The Horizon – POST HUMAN:NeX GEn (00:42:04) Imminence – The Black (00:54:50), Knocked Loose – You Won’t Go Before You’re Supposed To (01:06:46), and Glassing – From The Other Side of the Mirror (01:16:53). After a wild round of additional shout-outs to more releases that we just couldn’t quite cover with a full review, we naturally take a stroll down memory lane, as we also talk about Darkthrone – Transilvanian Hunger (01:39:46), System Of A Down – Mezmerize (01:49:36), Testament – The Formation Of Damnation (02:00:27), and Heaven Shall Burn – Iconoclast (Pt. 1: The Final Resistance) (02:09:10).
