Dying to Meet You
S3E6 | Raymond Chou "What are you grateful for?"

Today Raymond runs 11 successful businesses, appears on business magazines, and heads the Malaysian chapter as the President of Entrepreneurs' Organisation. He smiles and gives you a warm handshake; nobody would imagine the struggles that Raymond had gone through. All successful people have their origin stories, but not many are willing to share them. Raymond shares candidly about how he started working at 14 years old after his parents divorced, how his business empire crumbled which left him millions of dollars in debt, and how he sat in his car crying and contemplated suicide. Crying in the car, he joked, seems to be something every entrepreneur have in common. It was a phone call in 2009 that turned Raymond's life around with a single question - What are you grateful for.

S3E5 | Chun Yih Tan "Every doubt you overcome, prepares you for the next bigger and greater challenge"

Chun's parents came from an era where hardwork and dedication were the key to success. They worked hard, kept grinding at life, and eventually managed to provide a decent life for their son. They gave Chun the same loving parental advice - "Forget your passion, just work hard. In thirty years, you can enjoy yourself." That's certainly isn't the life the modern generation want for themselves. How did he manage his parents' expectations and still overcome multiple business hurdles to eventually make a unique mark for himself? At some low points in his life, Chun cried to himself, trying to reconcile "doing what's right" and "what he loves". Chun is Singapore's most experienced trainer for the Wim Hoff method and has used the same methods to push his body and mind to peak performance.
