Welcome to DRR Podcast 105, After a short Hiatus, this week we are back with a bang and delighted to welcome Keith Anderson to the DRR mothership, with a lush mix to showcase his sound. DJ and Timeline Music UK cofounder, Keith Anderson, was brought up the "good way" exposed to the timeless quality of Electro in the late 1980’s. Fascinated by this enigmatic sound, he bought his first two Electro 12"s; Herbie Hancock "Rocket" and Newcleus "Jam on it". This only solidified his love for Electro and he ended up buying all the classic tracks on 12inch circa 1986 and 1987. 1988-1989 would see Keith getting into the fresh worlds of Acid House and Techno. The love was there as it was with Electro. Following the inspiration, Keith frequented the Soul 2 Soul Shop in London, eventually buying ' The Dance' by Derrick May. It was during these years that Keith set out to shift the gears into DJing. From the DJ perspective, Keith's main objective is to bring the power to a mix; selecting tracks that work well together to create a powerful blend, to allow the creation of a story throughout. As Keith puts it, a "good DJ is about mixing also selecting good music” ... Keith's history as a live DJ goes back to Eurobeat 2000 at Frankie D's legendary club. It was here that his talent was recognised. He would go on to play at some of the biggest clubs in London including; The End, Ultimate Base Hardware, and Analogue City to name a few. In addition, Keith has spun the wax alongside Claude Young, Derrick May, and DJ Rush, Dave Angel. Remaining a dedicated purveyor to the underground, he is the daily force behind Timeline Music & Electronic Convergence. Track List: Snad - Goobernatorial Candidacy Confidential Recipe & Lady Tazz - This Is Our Groove Animuss - Sailor David Spanish - Rotor & Cream Regis - Speak to Me David Spanish - Hero With 1000 Faces Binny - Terraform Jeff Mills - Outsiders Deniro - Pelé 4 Altinbas - Radiance Stephen Lopkin - Nakamura Joey Beltram - Floaters A Sagittariun - nnihilating Rhythm Deniro - Pelé 3 Paul Mac - 3 Steps From The Edge Jorge Zamacona - Don't You Worry (Mosaic) Orlando Voorn - Chicago Zone Tim Jackiw - Bass Equations Basic Bastard - Rise (Detroit Dub) Ben Sims - Days Of Snow Altmann, Jakob - Od07 Follow Keith's Electronic Convergence project : https://www.electronic-convergence.co.uk/ Subscribe to our weekly email bulletin and follow us on all platfroms here: www.drrlts.ck.page Email: info@drr-lts.com Website: www.drr-lts.com

DRR Podcast 088 - Miro Lopasso
Welcome to DRR Podcast 088, for our second episode of the week we welcome Miro Lopasso, a Swiss native now based in Berlin, Germany. Born in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, Miro Lopasso had his first music experience with turntables in a local record store as a teenager, before relocating to Berlin to experience its hedonism and its electronic music scene. There, he started Djing at clubs such as Sisyphos and Suicide Circus, eventually settling into the Berlin techno scene. He connected with the prestigious Berghain club’s community and worked there as a stage technician for seven years, forging links and friendships within this techno phenomenon. Active as a DJ in established Berlin clubs like Tresor, About Blank or Schwuz, he was shaping his ongoing desire to carefully craft blended outputs of industrial soundscapes, percussive drums and acid inspirations. His debut track, ‘Beneath’, was released on Dutch label Mord’s first compilation Herdersmat (Part 1-7) in 2015. After a creative hiatus, he came back to his roots with a debut EP Ass It! in 2020 on Creaked, to be followed by The Encounter from Galactic Outposts in 2022. Continuing on his production journey, Miro Lopasso founded his own label, LPS, which has released his three latest EPs: Modified Humans, Nediar and Remote Controlled.
