Naslund Endowed Chair in Curriculum Theory and Professor of Education at the University of Southern California, the creator of the #HipHopEd social media movement and Science Genius B.A.T.T.L.E.S, the founder of Rap Genius and author of the New York Times bestseller For White Folks Who Teach in the Hood . . . and the Rest of Y’all Too. 🎤 His work has been featured in the Atlantic, the Wall Street Journal, and the Washington Post. Beyond being 2015, Multicultural Educator of the Year, Minorities in Energy Ambassador for the US Department of Energy, he also holds various degrees - a Ph.D in Urban Education, Masters degrees in Natural Sciences and Education and Bachelors degrees in Physical Anthropology, Biology, and Chemistry. 🧪Talk about a modern-age renaissance man!
