This week, old friend Jason Hook stops by the show to tell us all about his new band Flat Black! Their album “Dark Side of the Brain” just dropped on Friday, so these two got together to talk all about it & what’s been going on since the two toured together back in 2013. The two reminisce about the Avenged Sevenfold & Five Finger Death Punch tour they did together and catch up on everything they’ve been doing since. Jason spent some time after his departure from 5FDP producing and trying new things before ultimately deciding to start a new band and follow the passion of his childhood. The two friends dig into the new project and talk about the goals and intent for Flat Black as well as what it means to Jason to get this new start and the joy of making music.
