Ep. 59 Flipping the Script with Soberish Mom Katie Nessel
Katie is the voice behind Soberish Mom, a blog and social media accounts that focus on encouraging people, specifically parents, to take a more mindful approach to their relationship with alcohol. Her accounts provide no-and-low cocktail recipes, non-alcoholic product reviews, tips on how to drink less, the science on what drinking does to your health, and of course, the chaos of parenting. Katie has worked in the hospitality sector for more than 15 years, from her earliest days waitressing at The Cheesecake Factory to running communications and PR for one of the largest, boutique hospitality companies on the West Coast. She lives in the Seattle area with her husband and two children, ages 2 and 4.
