Dr. Dequies Lanier is an adjunct faculty member and recruiter with Troy University in Atlanta Georgia. She began her career administratively in finance for the southeast district at the university, and later she served in student services and admissions. 

Dr. Lanier has implemented district-wide strategic communication plans and cultivated university corporate partnerships. She teaches undergraduate students in the leadership discipline. She is a graduate of the Georgia North Fulton Chamber of Commerce Leadership North Fulton (LNF) program.

As a lover of learning, she enjoys studying various personality tools and interventions. She has published research on higher education leaders and presented at research conferences. Dr. Lanier’s research interests include higher education leadership, women’s leadership, strategic communication, and organizational behavior and human development.
