Dr. Bakare Airat Adeola is a lecturer and translational researcher at the University of Lagos, Nigeria who is interested in investigations that impact directly on lives. She holds a Ph.D. in Anatomy with specific focus on reproductive biology and neuroendocrine regulations. Her professional journey reflects commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and improving women’s reproductive health through evident scientific explorations.


Currently, she is interested in unravelling the mechanism behind neuroendocrine dysregulations in antiretroviral drugs-associated infertility for strategic development of treatment intervention. Dr Bakare has received several competitive research grants, presented her research findings at both national and international conferences, and published in reputable peer-reviewed journals.


Beyond academia, she is passionate about mentorship and community engagement. She actively supports teenage girls through empowerment programs focused on sex education and life-building skills, thus fostering informed choices and resilience in young girls in building greater tomorrow. Dr. Bakare’s career combines scientific excellence, teaching and social impact, positioning her as a scholar dedicated to improving reproductive health, enhancing knowledge acquisition for continuous growth and shaping future generations of leaders.
