Dr. David Poon, in the last ten years, became a professional stand-up comedian, a medical consultant for TV shows and movies, a politician, and a fiancé. He is the Medical Health Officer of Northern Medical Services, working a hybrid job for the needs of Northern Saskatchewan. He is also a physician psychotherapist at a Toronto addictions clinic.
