Meet Priyanjali Datta. She is a serial entrepreneur who has won several awards including being recognized as one of the "Top 10 Best Young Technology Entrepreneur" by One Young World & Novartis. She also co-founded Aarogya International, developing AI tools for early health condition detection among underprivileged women. She is currently leading expansion efforts at Audio Futures (Virtual Sonics Inc.) as their Chief Growth Officer.
Managing multiple projects comes with the challenge of staying organized. The tool that Priyanjali trusts to keep track of everything is Trello.
Highlights from the episode:From Shillong to Silicon Valley: Priyanjali comes from Shillong, a matrilineal society where early detection of health issues is highly valued. After moving to Delhi, she noticed that women often came to hospitals at very late stages of their illnesses. This spurred her to work on developing first- and second-generation AI algorithms for breast cancer detection. Her efforts have led to diagnosing over 70,000 women across four countries.
Challenges in product development and fundraising: Priyanjali’s main challenges in product development are recruiting skilled team members, creating a standout user experience, and executing effective distribution strategies. Additionally, fundraising has become more difficult due to the economic downturn. She shares how she navigates these complexities successfully.
Using Trello: Priyanjali was all praises for her preferred project management tool, Trello. She highlighted its simplicity, efficiency, and visual appeal for managing tasks and projects. Through a screenshare, she showed how its intuitive interface allows easy creation of boards, lists, and cards that help keep everyone on the same page.
