Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III and First Lady Monica Moss Open Up about their Marriage Journey

In this episode of DOTTIE’s House, Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III and First Lady Monica Moss open up about their marriage journey, sharing the lessons, the love, and the challenges that come with building a life together.

They’ve been married for nearly 31 years, after meeting their freshman year at Morehouse and Spelman. Over the years, they’ve navigated the ups and downs of life as partners, parents, and pillars of their community. They’ve raised two children, built a life in Chicago, and have had a profound impact on both culture and the Black church as a couple.

In this conversation, they reflect on what it really takes to sustain a marriage, not just the beautiful moments, but the grief, the growth, and the work that happens behind the scenes.

I’m grateful they chose to share this part of their journey with me—and with all of you.
