Pumpkin Wall Farm Animal Sanctuary specializes in Pet Assisted Therapy through their rescue work, including working hand in hand with therapists and their clients alongside the animals to achieve their therapy goals, foster and adopted children, home schooling programs, and children 13 to 18 who have been court ordered to do community service. They also assist individuals of all ages who struggle with autism, ADHD, ODD, depression, PTSD, anxiety, bereavement, and more. The resident animals, who consist mostly of rescue animals and a handful of selected animals for the program, aid in assisting humans with improving self-esteem, social skills, coping skills, and mental health.
Today I speak with Brendena Fleming owner and operator. She tells us about the great work they are doing at Pumpkin Wall Farm Animal Sanctuary to give back to those in the community. She also shares fun stories with me that I know you will enjoy hearing.
