Tape #10: I'm scared to close my eyes. I'm scared to open them.
It's finally time to tackle the definitive found footage film in the first part of Don't Stop Recording's season finale: The Blair Witch Project. As the seminal film approachs its 25th anniversary, Jacob and Matt return to the Black Hills Forest to discuss its one-of-a-kind production and why this no-frills mockumentary still has such horrifying staying power. Jacob begrudges the invention of 4K portable cameras. Matt rallies against MatPat's interpretation of Blair Witch's narrative. Both agree to never be entrusted with a map again. Check out that milk carton: Don't Stop Recording's tenth tape is waiting to be discovered.
