The 25th-anniversary Blair Witch celebrations continue on Don't Stop Recording's season finale. This week, we fast-forward to 2016 and discuss the misguided attempt to reboot the franchise under the helm of seasoned genre filmmaker Adam Wingard. Jacob mourns the loss of fake film The Woods and hypothesises an alternate reality in which it asserted dominance. Matt begrudges the addition of jump scares to the Blair Witch universe. In addition, the pair recap the franchise's activity in other media, and look ahead towards an uncertain future under Blumhouse.
