From his days as a young Catholic priest working in Japan, to his current involvement with The Sweet Freedom Singers, Brian's community work has supported Asylum Seekers and Refugees, Indigenous people, those with physical and mental health issues, the homeless and many others in struggling sectors of society. As a published and award winning songwriter, musician and producer he uses music to great effect in this work, often collaborating with people in these communities to create original and powerful songs and works of art.    

In this conversation Brian shares some of his most valued life lessons - from his work, from raising a family including a son with down syndrome and autism, and other experiences and observations.
