You Reap What You Sow
Don’t Overthink It

You Reap What You Sow
In this episode we investigate the truth behind the saying, 'you reap what you sow'. Beyond the black and white, we look at three cases to consider as we sow; mismatched seeds, unreasonable comparisons and 'sowing in tears'. Mismatched seeds will have us sowing externally for internal fruits for example, working for more success (career, finances) and hoping to reap peace, joy, love, etc and vice versa. Unreasonable comparisons pull us away from tending to our gardens as we are busy comparing seasons, strategies and talents. We  might even make out of character changes all because we are now looking at someone else's harvest. Finally, 'those who sow in tears shall reap joy'. Crying heals and it is a very healthy way to process emotions related to the losses, disappointments and traumas we have suffered and may have not dealt with. As painful as the moment is, if you find yourself in that experience, be encouraged as it is the key to making room for the peace and joy you need in your life so sow (cry) on! Good luck with the year! I hope you reap all you hope (and work) for. Enjoy the episode... ✨ IG: @dontoverthinkit.podcast
