Siki Daha is a singer, a vocal coach, and a humanitarian.
Seemingly involved in so much, Siki says his focus is narrowed down to; his artistry as a singer, his school - Music Roof, and his not for profit organisation ‘I Believe In Me’.
In this exciting conversation we dive into all 3. Siki shares experiences from Australian Idol, his personal journey since then, and a confronting story about the dark side of the industry. All of which directly lead into the 2 new singles he has just released.
Knowing the struggles other artists face, Siki started Music Roof to give vocal lessons and teach other artists how to properly brand themselves. Soon to be expanding into Bryon Bay!
We explore the inspiring origins behind ‘I Believe In Me’, starting as a children’s book about empowering and educating women of colour, then turning into a charitable organisation that donates books as well as offering workshops and scholarship programs.
We end the conversation on his documentary project chronicling three BIPOC female independent artists in Meanjin (Brisbane) showcasing their stories and struggles.
Siki is a dreamer who is helping others achieve theirs! An inspiring listen!
