Salomon Janvier is a fashion designer focussed on designing unique garments. His creations come from an honest place, and always with the best intentions for the community.
In an admirably open conversation, Salomon breaks down his process. From deciding upon a story to showcase, to designing each piece, and finally getting them out to the world, an intense amount of effort is required. Salomon tells us about his 3 collections, and what they represent.
He reflects heavily upon his latest collection, “I hate that I love you”, and what it meant to him as his final collection in Brisbane.
Addressing some of the public comments that have been made about the collection and its respective show, he shares his perspective of the complications that arose.
We discuss the future of our respective industries, media and fashion, how they could merge, and the future of our own creative journeys.
