Alutondo (Di Badmon) is an Afrobeats artist based out of Brisbane. Check out his latest singles on YouTube, Spotify, and all platforms!
As talented as he is with music, he's as good with exploring ideas in conversation. In between stories of his amazing homecoming tour, he gives us a deep history lesson about Afrobeats and African music. We talk about the strength of the local African community, and what's needed to grow as a smaller independent artist. We dive into some ideas about the power of marketing in music, and why it's important people interpret it in their own way. There's even unexpected parallels we find between media and music production.
Finally, Alutondo hypes his upcoming project, something we're excited for as we roll into 2024!
