First up Marisa spoke with Professor Azadeh Dastyari who discussed challenges Australia has faced in legislating a Human Rights Act, the benefits an Australian Human Rights Act would provide for people, and why Australia could be closer than ever in the political opportunity to achieve one. Professor Dastyari co-authored the report 'Legislating Human Rights Acts: From Whitlam to Now' .Marisa then interviewed Iain Rintoul from the Refugee Action Coalition about the March for Australia rally that happened on 19 October. Ian was a speaker at the 'Unite Against Racism' action in Sydney.Finally, Marisa spoke with David Glanz from the Refugee Action Collective who gave an eyewitness account of the Melbourne March for Australia.
