Dr. Corey Anton & Dr. Bob Swieringa | Identity, Interpretation of Conflict
In this episode, I am joined by two of Grand Valley State University's Communication Studies professors, both of whose classes I had the pleasure of taking during my time as a Com Major at GV. It is my hope that you leave this conversation as I did: with an expanded view of the ins and outs of conflict as it exists in our communication-driven world. More specifically, we tackle interpretation of conflict, address the slippery slope of identity within groups, and measure the importance of tolerance against the emotional responses we can feel towards people who think exactly the opposite of us. We also touch on fantasy football, ":)", and social media.
