We're back by popular demand! Apologies for not gracing your listening devices sooner but we do have other stuff to do, you know.
A decade ago we were lucky enough to fish the old B.L.A.C finals at Chew and whilst it was a steep learning curve we caught a few fish and even got on the podium. With a huge head of Pike and some immense Perch its a water that is held dear to many a UK predator angler. The Lure Anglers Society has held its annual Pike Cup on Chew for several years and this time around we (DnA) got lucky on the draw and secured a space for a days Pike fishing at place where a 40lb Pike is a possibility, even if we have no desire to catch such a beast.
We have a love/hate relationship with Pike, they've won us comps and have eaten our JDM but when given a chance to head to Bristol for a day on the water we couldn't say no. Could we possibly fall in love with these green & toothy trouble makers? NO!
We will return to normal service with some Saltwater species action soon as well as all the usual nonsense.
Glad to be back and tight lines. DnA.
