Reporting local politics

In this episode Alistair Jones (Associate Professor in Politics), from the Department of Politics, People and Place, is joined by Tor Clark (Associate Professor Journalism) and Tim Parker (Political Reporter, BBC Radio Leicester) to talk about how the reporting of local politics has changed over time.  Tor reminisces about his time as a journalist and newspaper editor, while Tim brings us up to date on broadcast media.  They cover a range of topics including bias, how local politics is reported, and "pointy pics".
