The Foreign Exchange Music is a label created by Phonté & Nicolay in 2008 in Wilmington (North Carolina / United States).
The story begins in the early 2000s, the American Phonté member of the group Little Brother, and the Dutch producer Nicolay meet on the forum of the Okayplayer website.
Sharing the same interest in music and without having really met physically, they decided to join forces in 2002 and form a duo called "The Foreign Exchange" (which would later become the name of their label).
Pay attention to the many quality productions contained in the discography of the beatmakers and artists of this label, such as Zo! , Nicolay - Median & Phonté, to name but a few.
The latest project released on the label is that of the talented Bemyfiasco with the album "Where I Left You" released in October 2021 (an album that we strongly recommend).
