This birthday edition is extra special because the virtual energy made me feel like you all were there in the cabana by my side dancing with me to my favorite music like nothing had changed. But this is the year we all changed together, forever. It is why 4.22.20 is a day I will never forget. While I recorded this a few days before my actual birthday, your vibrations and well wishes were with me all week (they still are) and for this I can’t thank you enough. As we are all learning to adapt to a new temporary normal, I wanted to put my energy into creating and sharing new music in hopes that it will brighten your day. It’s been rainy and gloomy in LA recently, affecting my motivation to create. Last week when it poured for 3 days straight, I woke up as the sun started to slowly peak out from the gloom and I felt so revived. All the greenery around me looked so fresh and happy, especially my monstera plant. This moment inspired me to fuse my love of music, plants, and art in a new passion project.
