As a culture we’re obsessed with time and understanding how it works. Every Superhero movie in the past 10 years is talking about time travel, infinite dimensions, infinite versions of yourself and so on. But there is one concept about time that we can all agree on, history repeats itself.
In this episode of the disk dungeon Julian and I put each other on two albums of today that could have very well come out in the 90s. New genres were popping up left and right. Napster and limewire provided new and illegal access to music that connected the world in a way that was never done before. Music in the 90s was like a middle aged man with a midlife crisis who desperately wants to be cool again.
