Daniel convenes a meeting of his closest friends to reveal to them the plan of his teacher, Jeremiah, to preserve the Jewish Scrolls of God’s Word. Daniel also reveals a hidden prophecy from the prophet, Isaiah, about a man named Cyrus. He proposes that “The Brotherhood of the Scroll” search for this man whom Isaiah spoke of.
