Mercy, the host, was invited to join the The American Roulette podcast to discuss disability issues in American politics with Lokin. Mercy and Lokin explored why Trump’s various comments on disability reflect white supremacy and make people uncomfortable, and they also discussed notable disability advocates in U.S. politics. Mercy shared her perspective on the controversies surrounding age and capability in the context of Biden’s decision not to run. Finally, Mercy and Lokin talked about the role of disabled individuals in U.S. presidential elections and the challenges they face when voting. This episode was recorded before the results of the U.S. election were announced.
