Black lives matter.
What do white people need to be doing to change consciousness and truly support equality? Heather chats with Maury about protesting in Seattle's Capitol Hill Organized Protest, as well as quarantining with the first woman she has been in a relationship with...while at her parent's house.
Along the way, Maury discusses attending her first pride parade as an openly gay woman, which was also a Black Lives Matter protest. Some of the pearls from this episode include: guilt is the least helpful place to put your energy into, and quarantine can take a toll on your sex life if you got roommates, ya dig?
This episode was recorded while the CHOP was still in effect. Welcome to The Pink Umbrella Family.
Did we mention that today is just a PHENOMENAL day to arrest the cops who killed Breonna Taylor? You can send a message to the Attorney General of Kentucky on their website right here, and ask him to do just that. https://ag.ky.gov/Contact-Us/Pages/default.aspx
